About 7 years ago a friend of mine suggested that I invest in a new company. They had discovered a new substance that was going to be used in numerous everyday products.  The substance is harder and lighter than any other material available. I wish I had listened to his advice.

That new material is called Graphene and it’s the secret to Callaway’s new Chrome Soft ball. To increase distance, provide greater spin on short shots, and less spin on long shots, you have to have flexibility with the core of the ball. In the past, making the core bigger made the outer layer compromised. With a Graphene core, Callaway is able to make a bigger, stronger, and lighter core thus, providing the best of all three in their ball – distance, accuracy and spin control.
